#Freeter definition full
This term was coined by part-time job magazine From A editor Michishita Hiroshi in 1987 and was used to depict a "free" worker that worked less hours, earned pay hourly instead of a monthly paycheck like regular full time workers, and received none of the benefits of a regular full time worker (holiday pay, sick pay, bonus pay, paid leave). As German (along with English) was used in Japanese universities before World War II, especially for science and medicine, arubaito became common among students to describe part-time work for university students. Arubaito is a Japanese loanword from Arbeiter, and perhaps from Arbeit ("work").

The word freeter or freeta is thought to be a portmanteau of the English word free (or perhaps freelance) and the German word Arbeiter ("labourer"). These people do not start a career after high school or university, but instead earn money from low-paid jobs. įreeters may also be described as underemployed. The average age of Freeters is within the range of 15 to 34 years old. I think it's not necessary to have watched the drama before.as I said, it took me 2 years to watch it and I forgot a lot about what had happened in the drama, but I could follow the storyline easily.Freeter ( フリーター, furītā) is a Japanese expression for people who lack full-time employment or are unemployed, excluding housewives and students.

If your are in the mood to watch a movie about family and relationships and you want to watch a good acting from Ninomiya Kazunari, you should give this a try. Seiji is basically the one helping all people around him to be happy what makes him very sympathetic to me. Furthermore Seiji and Chiba are just starting their relationship and deepen them in the Special in a very cute way. This is the main plot line and it shows how it can affect the family life and how it can be solved. On one side it's about the relationshiip between a husband and a wife where the wife chose the marriage over her family. There are various topics touched in the Special.

Also the other characters like the father and sister and Chiba are believable. I also liked the acting of the mother a lot, because she is still acting as someone who is suffering from depression and it's amazing how she portrays it. He is overly cute and lovable and portrays his sometimes quite shy and unsure character very convincing. I didn't feel like the time passing while watching which is basically a good sign, right?! In the end, both "problems" are solved, so you are not left with an open end. The story is more about the parents of Seiji and how they got together as well as Seiji's relationship with Chiba. I liked the drama and thought that it was a bit slw in progressing with the story, but since the drama only takes around 90 minutes, I didn't feel like that.

Rewatch Value 7.0 I watched the drama when it was aired, but it took me ages to take a look at the Special. And, the very presence of the kitty becomes a turning point for both the Take family and Manami`s relationship with her mother.

But, while Manami is out at work, the kitty becomes ill and Manami's mother not knowing what to do contacts Manami and so Seiji decides to take care of the kitty in the meantime. After promising to take care of the kitty only until a new owner is found, Manami is able to take care of the kitty at her mother`s home. But one day, on the way home from drinking with the Oetsu Construction members, Seiji and Manami come across an abandoned kitty. Seiji, having just started his new life, hadn’t really given much thought to marriage, but after meeting Manami’s mother, he is shocked to learn how Manami feels about her mother and towards marriage. Growing up in such an environment, Manami had fostered a complicated relationship with her mother, and because of that the prospect of marriage wasn`t appealing to her. Manami’s father had passed away when she was young and her mother, Sayuri, had remarried since then. The Take family, having moved into their new home, have been living there peacefully until Sumiko’s brother shows up one day while she is out, and Seiji and Ayako discovers that their parents had in fact married despite objection from Sumiko’s family.Īlso, Manami, in the midst of her internship in Okayama, is coming back to Tokyo for a week, and so Seiji and Manami are finally able to reunite. One year has passed since Take Seiji became a full time employee at Oetsu Construction.
